About Us

Specific cases of captive orcas, for instance, Tilikum and Lolita, to establish pathologies of behavior and patterns of psychological trauma. Ethical analyses entail comparison of captivity with animal welfare standards like the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare. Scientific study integrating neuroscientific and behavioral studies of orca intelligence, stress response, and social structure.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring more research like what we have above is used to save the orcas. We are using your donations to fund this project and help our team find solutions for our Orcas. Meet the team

The Team

Iris Grossman

Biologist

Inspired by a childhood encounter with an orca on a family holiday, I became a marine biologist dedicated to protecting these incredible animals. Today, I work with a passionate team to study orcas, safeguard their habitats, and advocate for cleaner oceans—because their survival is deeply connected to our planet's health and my lifelong mission.

Benjamin Lei

 Researcher

A childhood encounter with a wild-ranging orca initially drew my fascination with these brilliant animals, which would develop into a dedication to protecting them. After watching one in captivity now, as a researcher, I strive to learn about orca behavior and ecosystems to help ensure their long-term sustainability.

Jia Galloway

Wild life photographer
