Orcas are highly intelligent, social animals that suffer immensely in captivity due to stress, aggression, and isolation. Captivity disrupts their natural behaviors, leading to psychological distress, shorter lifespans, and unnatural aggression. Public awareness and ethical considerations are changing, but more action is needed to protect marine mammals. The research highlights the importance of conservation efforts and potential alternatives, like marine sanctuaries.
